About

My foundation as a UX Researcher stems from the quest to understand the ways humans shape the world through their interactions with it.

This passion is what led to my multidisciplinary academic and professional pursuits and concentrations in philosophy, sociology, international education, anthropology, and religious studies.

Past experience in higher education has enabled me to use my research aptitude within the UX industry. In doing so, I have devoted myself to taking on UX projects and growing my experience in technology-oriented research and design strategy.

Research Site Manager

RAND Corporation (Contract) | Jacksonville, FL , 2011

• Recruited and conducted screening and follow-up interviews of 200+ participants and exceeded study recruitment goal by 25%.

• Maintained $75k+ budget using cost management techniques to procure research site location and participant funding.

• Worked with research team to analyze research questionnaire, develop and implement participant recruitment and safety strategies.

• Maintained study's compliance with the Internal Review Board's ethical standards and guidelines.

• Managed research assistants, worksite personnel, daily operations, and updated research database to maintain high levels of quality and performance.
